SHEIN Named Headline Partner for 2026 Women’s Football Awards as Sir David Beckham Backs Landmark Celebration of the Women’s Game

SHEIN, the global online fashion retailer, has been announced as the headline partner for the 2026 Women’s Football Awards, reinforcing its commitment to celebrating the achievements of women and girls in sport.

It is the fourth year that SHEIN has partnered with the landmark event.

As Europe’s largest awards celebration of women’s football, the Women’s Football Awards brings together the brightest stars of the sport and influential figures from across the industry. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by BBC broadcaster Gabby Logan alongside football legend and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher on 7 May, as the event returns to celebrate the individuals, organisations and brands driving the game forward.

Sir David Beckham has also thrown his support behind the awards this year, highlighting the remarkable progress of the women’s game. He said:

“It’s been so incredible to see through the growth of the women’s game over the years and we love cheering on the lionesses in our house! These awards celebrate the very best in the game both on and off the pitch.”

2026 Women’s Football Awards host Gabby Logan said:

“It is amazing and emotional to say that the Women’s Football Awards exists now. The event celebrates inspiring individuals, great organisations and brilliant brands driving the game forward. I’ll be there with Jamie Carragher on 7 May celebrating the incredible women shaping the game.”

Shihong Liu, Director, Europe Markets at SHEIN said: ‘We are incredibly proud to be the founding partner of the Women’s Football Awards and are delighted to continue our partnership into its fourth year. SHEIN is committed to supporting women’s empowerment projects globally and this initiative is a true celebration of the inspiring women working in the fastest-growing and most exciting sport in the world.’

Women’s Football Awards co-host Jamie Carragher added:

“Having SHEIN support the Women’s Football Awards for a fourth year is a remarkable commitment to the women’s game. It also follows their investment in grassroots girls’ teams in England this year, which is fantastic to see. The women’s game is growing at an incredible pace and support like this helps elevate it even further and bring it to new audiences.”

The event attracts some of the biggest names in women’s football, alongside celebrity fans, to honour the athletes, teams and influencers shaping the game. The awards also spotlight grassroots initiatives and those working behind the scenes to propel women’s football forward.

Previous winners include Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, Chelsea star Keira Walsh, broadcaster Alex Scott and England goalkeeper Mary Earps. The awards recognise achievements across the footballing landscape, with categories ranging from Player of the Year and Club of the Year to Grassroots Initiative of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

SHEIN will also play a key role in dressing football stars and grassroots female footballers attending the high-profile event. As part of the partnership, the brand will continue supporting grassroots women’s football teams in the UK through a collaboration with Football For Change. Earlier this year, SHEIN reinforced its commitment to girls football with donations to sponsor kit and equipment to a number of grassroots football teams in England.

SHEIN’s partnership with the Women’s Football Awards extends beyond the ceremony itself, as the brand continues its efforts to elevate women’s football at all levels. The 2026 event promises to be another memorable evening celebrating the individuals and teams taking women’s football to new heights.
