Manchester United rising star and Norway international Celin Bizet, along with former England footballer and sports broadcaster Eni Aluko, united with the Premier League at a prestigious event in the Houses of Parliament to officially launch the 2025 SHEIN Women’s Football Awards. The event, which brought together fans, celebrities, and key sponsors of the awards, marked the countdown to Europe’s biggest awards event for women’s football, set to take place on 1 May.
Hosted by Labour MP Sarah Smith, who represents Hyndburn and who recently signed for Accrington Stanley Women, the event highlighted the significant growth and recognition of women’s football across the UK and Europe.
Celin Bizet, who has impressed at Manchester United since her arrival, expressed her excitement about being part of the event: “I am proud to be involved in women’s football at such a historic time for the sport. The Women’s Football Awards is Europe’s biggest awards event for the women’s game, and it’s an honour to be a part of the growing momentum.”
