Hayes was awarded an OBE for services to football in 2022 and became the new manager of the United States of America this summer.

Darren Carter
Darren Carter has provided stability to Birmingham City in the Women’s Championship following their relegation in 2022. The manager, who made over 500 professional appearances during his own playing career, has lifted the mood at the club after missing out on promotion by just one point in his first full season in charge.
Marc Skinner
Manchester United manager Skinner helped push Chelsea all the way during the epic 2022-23 Women’s Super League title race, helping develop the talents of England superstars Mary Earps, Ella Toone and Alessia Russo, who joined Arsenal at the end of the campaign, along the way. Skinner also guided United to the FA Cup final and will be looking to secure silverware for the Red Devils in the near future.
Leanne Ross
Ross guided Glasgow City to a first Scottish Women’s Premier League since 2021 last season, overcoming Celtic and Rangers to the title. The former Scotland midfielder, who made over 100 appearances for her country during a playing career which stretched over two decades, was named Scottish Women’s Premier League Coach of the Year in November 2023.
Steven Dale
Dale is manager of Wrexham, the club backed by Hollywood megastars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Dale led Wrexham to promotion to the Welsh top-flight in 2023, where the team have continued to compete at the upper-end of the table. Wrexham became the first women’s team in North Wales to hand out semi-professional contracts to their players following promotion.
Matt Beard
Beard has been a revelation for Liverpool since returning to the club following their relegation to the Women’s Championship. He led Liverpool back to the Women’s Super League, where they continue to compete at the right end of the table, enjoying a successful 2023-24 campaign.
Jonas Eidevall
Eidevall led Arsenal to the Women’s League Cup in 2023 and has led several title challenges during his time at North London. He was rewarded by Arsenal with a new three-year contract in 2023 as he was also nominated for Women’s Super League Manager of the Season.
Jo Potter
Potter enjoyed a successful first season as Rangers manager during a nail-biting title race with Celtic and Glasgow City. Potter earned 35 international caps for England during her playing career and is one of the most exciting young managers in the professional game.
Gareth Taylor
Taylor, appointed Manchester City manager in 2020 after representing the men’s team during his playing career, helped the Citizens mount a significant title charge in the 2023-24 season. City rewarded the popular manager with a new three-year deal in March 2024 following statement victories against both Chelsea and Arsenal.
